How to get there:
Fifteen minutes from the station on foot, or by local bus 'Winkelmatten', as far as the 'Luchre' stop and then 1 minute's walk.
Zermatt is carfree!.

The Matterhorn-Gotthard-Railway brings you to the resort. Free parking in Visp at the station. If you leave your car in Tsch, the last village before Zermatt: Parking costs up to CHF 14.50 per day.
Our front desk is open from: 7 to 10 a.m. 4 to 10 p.m. If you arrive later, please contact our front desk team. NO CHECK-IN WITHOUT RESERVATION AFTER 10 P.M.!

*Please note that Zermatt Youth Hostel does not have cooking facilities. BED & BREAKFAST is offered as standard, you can pre-book a 4-course meal for CHF 17.50.

Backpackers from all over the world, as well as families, groups and young-at-heart senior citizens receive a very warm welcome in a cosy atmosphere the whole year round. Whether they choose the inexpensive variant in a dormitory or a double room with a separate shower and WC, dinner and breakfast in the dining room with a view of the Matterhorn are always included in the price.

Once you arrive in Zermatt, it's not far to the Youth Hostel. It is located between the town centre and the station of Klein Matterhorn Railways. It is a 15-minute walk from the railway station to the Youth Hostel. A slightly more comfortable journey by electric bus or taxi is also possible. (Zermatt is car-free).
